Single-Phase Electric Motor
A single-phase capacitor-start induction motor, totally enclosed and fan-cooled, running on a 220 V supply. It pairs high starting torque with a simple construction, dependable performance and easy maintenance, and is built for continuous duty.
Available from 0.25 to 5.5 kW (0.33 – 7.5 HP) in 2-pole and 4-pole versions, it drives air compressors, pumps, woodworking machines, farm equipment, refrigeration units, washing machines and medical equipment — wherever a three-phase supply is not available.
